My latest pendants designs are scripture pendants. I've had requests to use these pendants to create keychains. Guess what my next venture will be?!
In the mean time, here are the first of the scripture pendants I've created:
All of these are now available on my etsy site.

Kids and Art
Yesterday was the first of what is planned to be an anuual Art Fest for our little town. Many many people came out to see the displays of the local artists (both performing arts and visual arts). Our booth was located next to the art league's booth containing a mural the children would paint on throughought the day. How fun to sit next to that and see all the children involved in art all day long. I loved it!

Bluebonnets Pendant
It is SPRING in South Texas and the Bluebonnets are BLOOMING! I so love this time of year.
Tomorrow, March 26 will find my friend Nancy and I with a booth at ArtFest 2011 in downtown Seguin. Nancy will be displaying and selling her Texas photography and I will be displaying and selling my painted antique windows and glass pendant necklaces. Come see us if you're in the area! We'd love to meet you! Be sure to enter our drawings while you're there. Nancy will be holding a drawing for a free print of one of her in-stock photos. I will be holding a drawing for the bluebonnet glass pendant necklace pictured below. Both drawings will be held at 3:00 pm. See you there!!!

New Venture
In addition to filling my free time with painting and photography, I've discovered a new creation for photos of my work. I'm having a lot of fun coming up with images to turn into wearable art: glass tile pendants! I'm loving how they look and learning more with each one I create. I will soon be offering them for sale on my etsy site so keep watching! Custom pendants will be available as well by contacting me and letting me know what you'd like to see, or submitting your own photo for reproducing for a pendant. Here are the very first ones I made:
I have many more ideas and more supplies are on their way. As soon as my chains and findings arrive I'll be completing necklaces and getting new products uploaded to the etsy site.
The zebra stripes pendants are created from some graphic design work:
The bee pendant is created from some of my own photography:
The whimsical dragonfly and butterfly pendants are created from a series of paintings I did a few years ago for a customer who ordered the paintings for a new baby's nursery. I just love how they look as pendants!
The bluebonnet pendants is made from some of my wildflower photography:
I will be offering sports themed pendants as well, and of course Mom pendants too!
Love the vintage look of a black and white photo set in antique brass!
The Cozumel pendant is created from one of my recent paintings:

Harbor
I was so excited when I made my first sale on my etsy site. I was inspired to paint Harbor when some ladies and I were working on decorations for my daughter's debutante ball. One of the decorations was a large mural type backdrop for the entrance to the ball. We painted a scene of a harbor from an old postcard. See the painted backdrop here. As we painted that scene I kept thinking I'd like to paint it again. Soon after I painted the scene on one of my antique windows. I listed it on etsy and it sold rather quickly. "Harbor" now resides in California and it remains one of my favorites.
